It is our pleasure to invite you to the 4th International symposium on Acclimatization and Establishment of Micropropagated Plants to be held in Bangalore, Karnataka, India from 8 to 12 December 2008 under the auspices of International Society for Horticulture Science(ISHS).

We invite scientists, academicians, policy makers, entrepreneurs, students, bureaucrats, farmers and all those involved with science and business of plant tissue culture, horticulture and related science and industries, to discuss the recent progress and problems in plant tissue culture technologies, invitro and invivo plantlet acclimatization, michorrization of the tripartite culture systems, contamination control and disease management of microplants, autotropic micropropagation, bioreactors and automation of micropropagation, use of light emitting diode on microplant development, quality control of micropropagules, genetic fidelity, molecular markers, role of micro propagation in sustainable agriculture development especially in Asia and Africa, economics of plant tissue culture, commercialization, production management, and protection of intellectual property. The programme will include invited papers, oral and poster presentation. The official language of the symposium will be English.
